Our Values.
Disruptions of 2020 showed tremendous need for nimble medium sized commodity merchants who excel at the last mile. Gunny bags dumped in the port is thing of the past. Some experts of food ingredients business, with immense experience in Africa, formed Shree Agro right in the middle of the lockdown. Shree Agro has a solid team in West Africa, that has been engaged in local distribution as well as origination for a long time. Listed here are the four values we want to excel at.

Rice Distribution
Rice is the staple food for the countries we operate in. In low income countries, it is a vital source of carbohydrates in the diet. Our destination markets are not self-sufficient, and we play a strategically key role in being part of our destination markets national food security.
With a robust supply network in Asia, we cater to all price points and taste preferences at destination via a dense distribution network and brands which are the consumer’s top choice. White Rice originated and sold is in 5% Brokens / 25% Brokens, IR64/IR36/Swarna. Thai Jasmine, Viet Jasmine, Nanghoa, KDM and DT8 are the varieties that are originated in Asia and distributed in West Africa. Royal Panda, Oasis and De De are our brands which are household names in West Africa.

Sugar Distribution
Sugar is one of the most important products in the essential commodity basket in West African household. It is largely a 150 ICUMSA market which we source directly from Brazil. However, beverage and dairy / chocolate industries are growing rapidly in West Africa for whom we source high quality 45 ICUMSA sugar from the European Union and Guatemala. We import sugar both in break bulk and in containers into Ghana and Togo for onwards distribution.
